President Biden led the recovery from the COVID-19 pandemic and global economic recession. He delivered historic action to address the climate crisis – making a once-in-a-generation investment in a livable future and creating hundreds of thousands of new clean energy jobs for Americans. He rallied the world’s democracies to help defend Ukraine and stand up to Vladimir Putin’s horrific aggression. He reinforced our alliances by expanding NATO and deepening relationships across the Indo-Pacific.
By stepping down, President Biden has taken one more selfless act to protect our democracy and invest in a better future for Americans — passing the torch to Vice President Kamala Harris. We will be forever grateful for his leadership.
