While the formal implementation of the agreement and the resolution of key technical details remain pending, we recognize the progress achieved through tireless diplomacy led by the United States, Qatar, and Egypt.
The ceasefire, set to take effect immediately, offers a vital opportunity to stop the conflict, facilitate the release of hostages, and deliver much-needed humanitarian aid to Gaza. This development follows months of intense negotiations, during which the families of hostages and civilians on all sides endured unimaginable suffering and uncertainty. Their resilience and advocacy remind us of the human cost of prolonged conflict.
