David White

David E. White Jr. served as the 14th Deputy Director of the Peace Corps. He previously held senior roles in the Biden-Harris Administration at the White House, National Security Council, and State Department. An attorney by training, White earned his law degree, cum laude, from Harvard Law School, clerked on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit, and practiced at Wachtell, Lipton, Rosen & Katz. A West Point graduate, he earned the Purple Heart, Bronze Star Medal, and Combat Action Badge for his service in Afghanistan. Born and raised in New York’s Hudson Valley, he splits his time between Washington, DC, and Cambridge, MA, with his wife and son.
