Simon Clark is a Visiting Research Fellow at the Center for Security Policy Studies at the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University and is the author of Terror Vanquished: The Italian Approach to Defeating Terrorism. Following a career in technology and news, including serving as CFO of an early web news startup in New York, he founded and built Fidelity’s European venture capital fund, Eight Roads, from 1999 to 2014, where he raised over $500 million to support high growth technology companies. He was elected to chair the British Venture Capital Association and represent the industry to policy makers. After retiring from Fidelity, Mr. Clark joined Generation Investment Management, the sustainability firm, as a Senior Adviser.
